Job summary

Conflux Systems is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our nationwide field service team. The role focuses on installing Siemens Diagnostic equipment at customer sites, with extensive travel across the United States.

The technician will start-up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and coordinate with project management to ensure installations meet quality and schedule targets. A strong background in medical device installation and network setup is required.

Qualifications

• Technical training or degree; minimum of 2–3 years of experience with Atellica/CI1900 system, automation, installation, or service.
• Basic understanding of facilities and electrical requirements.
• Must be able to travel overnight 90% of the time anywhere in the US.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs Atellica, CI1900, Aptio, Flex Lab X, HT, and automation reconfigurations at install site, by performing Start-up and calibration of systems within a planned project timeline.
• Evaluates site layout and installation quality of our mechanical install vendors, start-up in accordance with factory instructions and specifications; troubleshoot technical problems and repair out of box failures errors; orders missing or damaged parts; provide feedback to vendors, factory, project management and planning.
• Uses the tools provided to document the predefined installation tasks.
• Provide expert level mentoring support to field service organization.
