You will serve as a technical advisor to clinical staff on safe equipment usage and help evaluate new device acquisitions.

This role offers exposure across biotech, med-tech, and healthcare sectors, with regional travel and occasional overnight as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Biomedical Technician role.
• Must be curious, mechanically minded problem-solver with hand-on hardware skills.
• Strong communicator capable of explaining findings to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime and keep customer operations running smoothly.
• Perform performance assurance inspections, maintenance, safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate biomedical equipment and systems.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and customer concerns.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Lead service operations special projects and travel to sites as needed for data collection and analysis.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of equipment databases, inventory, and service history.
