Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Neptune across the Northern Illinois region, traveling in a company-provided vehicle to healthcare facilities to install, service, and maintain medical equipment.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and ensure devices meet safety and quality standards while coordinating with clinicians, sales teams, and internal partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently within the territory, including overnight and weekend travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing, safety, and access requirements, including PPE.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the role (standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to service, install, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment to restore functionality and minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and inspect medical equipment per service guidelines and quality standards.
• Support software, connectivity, and system configuration as needed.
• Document service activities, repairs, and parts usage in company systems.
