Job summary

Tri Imaging Solutions is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to service and maintain a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment across hospitals and healthcare facilities. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair devices while mentoring BMET I staff and supporting IT collaboration on networking issues.

The role requires 3–5 years of hospital BMET experience, strong electrical safety knowledge, and the ability to travel locally within a defined territory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hospital/healthcare BMET experience
• Advanced knowledge of biomedical equipment, electronic theory, and electrical safety
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair moderate to complex BMET equipment
• Knowledge of medical device networking, operating systems, and basic cybersecurity
• Ability to read service manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to travel locally and regionally

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Diagnose failures, identify root causes, and take corrective actions to restore manufacturer specifications
• Perform electrical safety inspections, functional testing, software updates, and equipment verification
• Respond to customer service requests and communicate status and actions
• Complete accurate service reports, work orders, PMs, calibration docs, and equipment histories
• Troubleshoot device networking with IT and clinical teams
• Support equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and decommissioning
• Mentor BMET I team members
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required
