Job summary

TriMedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I (BMET I) to perform clinical equipment maintenance and safety inspections under supervision. You will validate equipment, calibrate general biomedical devices, and support troubleshooting with other technicians at customer sites.

Role requires a 2 year technical/electronics degree (or equivalent), strong computer skills, and a valid driver's license. Travel to customer sites is expected as part of field service responsibilities and ongoing

Qualifications

• Requires a 2 year technical/electronics degree or equivalent experience.
• Travel may be required based on customer or business needs.
• Strong computer proficiency and data interpretation skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clinicians and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification on general biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate biomedical equipment and document status of repairs.
• Inform supervisors of repairs, inspections, unusual equipment situations, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education and support service projects as assigned.
