Job summary

Tri Imaging Solutions, now part of the DirectMed Imaging family, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician III to serve as a senior technical resource, installing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and verifying complex biomedical and medical imaging equipment in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressively responsible experience servicing biomedical equipment in healthcare settings.
• Expert knowledge of biomedical equipment, electronics, and networked medical devices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair highly complex equipment independently.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, operating systems, and clinical system integration.
• Ability to interpret engineering docs, schematics, and service manuals.
• Proven leadership, project management, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on complex biomedical equipment.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using manufacturer software, schematics, and test equipment.
• Analyze recurring failures, identify root causes, and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Lead complex installations, relocations, and technology upgrades.
• Serve as escalation resource and coordinate with manufacturers for support.
• Mentor BMET I and II team members through coaching and troubleshooting.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
