Job summary

• Associate degree in Bio-Medical Engineering/Electronics or military equivalent certifications.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience maintaining and repairing medical/electronic/mechanical equipment.
• AAMI Bio-Medical Technician certification preferred; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and safety-tests a wide range of medical equipment to ensure reliable and safe operation.
• Manages equipment records and work orders in CMMS; collaborates with clinical staff and manufacturers.
• Trains as a technical resource across Mercyhealth locations; assists with inventories and budgets.
• May travel to Mercyhealth locations and work flexible hours including weekends.
