Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics/biomedical equipment technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years servicing clinical/patient care equipment in hospital settings.
• Valid driver’s license for travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Performs planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on patient care equipment.
• Manages assigned equipment and schedules service.
• Performs pre-acceptance inspections and develops PM procedures; maintains procedure manuals.
• Ensures test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Responds to clinical calls to evaluate and rectify issues.
• Maintains purchase order logs and validates invoices for payment.
• Provides informal training to equipment users and staff as needed.
• Collaborates with Department Manager on service strategies.
• Participates in Quality Improvement/Risk Management activities.
• Maintains orderly and safe work environment; provides emergency on-call support.
