Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician in Kenosha, WI to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices. The role requires on-call responsibilities and a 40-hour workweek, with pay range from $33.05 to $49.60 per hour.

Responsibilities include installing, calibrating, and testing new devices, coordinating with clinical staff, and providing guidance to interns and entry-level technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2 years of experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs non-imaging diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices using standard electronic test equipment.
• Installs, calibrates, and tests new medical electronic devices and systems.
• Escalates complex issues to appropriate staff or vendor resources.
• Performs planned and corrective maintenance, recalls, and equipment disposition per guidelines.
