Mercyhealth in Wisconsin seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to ensure safe operation of medical devices. You will calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of equipment while supporting compliance and performance testing.

The role includes CMMS data entry, coordination with staff, and occasional travel or flexible hours. This is a full‑time position based in Janesville, WI.

Competenze

• Associate degree or military certification required; alternative 2–3 years biomedical experience.
• Experience with biomedical equipment safety and performance testing.
• Proficiency with CMMS for work orders, assets and PM scheduling.

Mansioni

• Service patient monitors, ECGs, blood gas analyzers, x-ray units and more.
• Perform safety tests to protect patients and staff from hazards.
• Consult with medical staff to verify proper and safe equipment function.
• Enter, retrieve, and manage work orders and PM schedules in CMMS.
• Assist with inventory management and department budgeting.
• May work flexible hours, travel, or cover shifts as needed.
