Job summary

GE HealthCare in Dublin, GA is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 to respond to service calls, diagnose, repair and perform PM on basic biomedical equipment on-site. The role is 1st shift with relocation assistance provided to the successful candidate.

You will work under supervision, communicate with customers, and support contract service delivery while adhering to GE policies and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues to customers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Successful applicant will undergo background checks and drug testing as required.
• Willingness to be available for after-hours on-call rotation including weekends.
• Role located in Dublin, GA with relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, evaluate basic equipment issues, perform repairs and PMs.
• Assist more experienced technicians on repairs/resolution.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Follow GE policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Maintain communications with customers for timely resolution.
• Support contract and business goals for the GE/customer facility.
• Work with local team to deliver efficient service across accounts.
