Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to assist with operational and safety testing, maintenance, and repairs on general patient care equipment. You will conduct inventories on units and help schedule safety checks and repairs with approved vendors. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate’s Degree Biomedical Technology preferred. Flexible schedule including nights and holidays; 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technology preferred.
• 0–1 year experience preferred; experience in lieu of degree not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist BMET staff with operational and safety testing of equipment.
• Perform inventories and maintain equipment records.
• Coordinate repairs with approved vendors and document work performed.
• Support maintenance and repair of clinical and other electromechanical equipment.
