Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to assist in testing, maintenance and repairs of general patient care equipment at 100 Blossom Street, Boston. The role involves inventory management, documentation of work, and coordinating repairs with approved vendors.

The position requires a High School Diploma or Associate's in Biomedical Technology (preferred), and 0–1 year related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree Biomedical Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment records and accurate inventory.
• Coordinates and completes scheduled and unscheduled repair and maintenance of physical plant by company approved vendors.
• Performs documentation of work performed, inventories and histories.
• Updates the inventory and control systems for all equipment supported by the department
• Assists BMET Techs with maintenance and repair of clinical and other electromechanical related equipment.
