Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and assist in medical equipment management. You will install, calibrate, repair, and inspect devices, supporting clinical and research areas across 81 Highland Avenue and surrounding sites.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Technology or equivalent experience, strong interpersonal and safety knowledge, and the ability to use diagnostic tools and computer-based maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Biomedical Technician required.
• Regulatory and safety knowledge expected for biomedical devices.
• Experience with maintenance and repair of medical devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects newly acquired medical devices and assigns control numbers and labels.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety testing on devices.
• Responds to equipment problems in clinical or research areas and troubleshoots.
• Repairs devices down to board or component level using test instrumentation or software.
