Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical engineering technology or related field.
• Bachelor degree in related field preferred.
• Four years in a full service biomedical section/department or company with at least one year as a senior technician.
• Seven years of experience with three years as a senior technician preferred.
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers the daily operations of a specific service in an assigned area.
• Maintains, services, calibrates, adjusts, repairs and tests medical equipment and systems.
• Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.
