Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a hospital or healthcare setting maintaining or managing medical equipment.
• Deep understanding of computer-based medical systems and networking in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive medical equipment management program compliant with healthcare standards.
• Create continuing education curriculum on safe and effective use of medical technology for staff.
• Lead recall and safety alert programs for medical devices and ensure patient safety compliance.
• Oversee capital asset planning and implementation of complex medical equipment.
• Serve as SME for clinical technology support, training, QA and lifecycle management.
• Advise staff on medical technology viability, safety, and long-term suitability.
• Apply project management to deployment of medical equipment and health IT.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless integration.
• Stay current with regulatory and ISO standards to drive continuous improvement.
