Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of relevant training/experience in medical device assembly or similar.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Overtime work is required.
• Microscope experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs Casting/Coating functions.
• Examines devices after molding to locate bubbles, nicks, or excess epoxy.
• Uses drills, reamers, taps and knives to access bubbles and remove epoxy.
• Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.
• Performs Mechanical Assembly functions including kits and bonding.
• Locates and corrects problems by visual inspection and tool use.
• Reviews device documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• May set up or utilize special test equipment.
