Job summary

Aperture LLC is seeking a Biomedical Engineer/Accident Reconstructionist to independently manage a caseload of field investigations across vehicular, slip/trip and fall, and recreational accidents.

You will collect and analyze data to support forensic analyses, calculate principal directions of force and velocity changes, prepare clear reports, and deliver technical presentations. Occasional travel and expert testimony may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience reconstructing injury-producing incidents.
• Experience with dynamic testing, data collection/analysis.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel; and general IT.
• Knowledge of injury mechanisms and litigation support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations for vehicular, slip/trip and fall, and recreational accidents.
• Collect and analyze data for forensic analyses, including velocity changes.
• Review depositions and medical records for case reports.
• Prepare reports and present findings clearly for depositions or trials.
• Provide expert witness testimony as needed.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and meet billable hours.
• Deliver technical presentations to clients and conferences.
