Job summary

Aperture, LLC is seeking a Forensic Expert - Accident Reconstruction Expert to join a field-oriented team in Las Vegas. You will reconstruct a variety of incidents, estimate speeds, analyze data from vehicle electronics, and create scene replicas to support or dispute causation theories.

The role requires 5+ years in reconstruction, proficiency with 3D scanning and CDR data, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and in potential depositions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience reconstructing and analyzing injury-producing incidents.
• Experience with dynamic testing, data collection or data analysis.
• Technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigate vehicles and conduct scene field investigations for various accidents.
• Collect and analyze data for forensic analysis, simulation or testing.
• Perform inspections using 3D scanning tech and collect data including CDR from ECM of vehicles.
• Utilize 3D laser scanners, aerial drones, and mapping equipment to gather evidence.
• Prepare models/replicas of accident scenes with measurements and vehicle positions.
• Communicate technical details to clients in lay terms.
• May contribute to reports and provide testimony as needed.
