ATUM is a leader in cell line development, gene synthesis, and protein engineering seeking a Technical Field Applications Scientist to join our team. The role is a client-facing SME responsible for technical and scientific support of ATUM’s offerings, translating platform capabilities into differentiated value for customers.

The FAS partners with Commercial and Business Development to identify target accounts, support deal strategy, and drive revenue growth. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc/M.Sc in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Cellular Biology, or a related scientific subject; Ph.D. is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Partners with the Commercial team to serve as the primary scientific liaison for customers and revenue projects.
• Provides technical guidance on ATUM's integrated services (gene design, transient expression, and CLD) in client meetings and proposals.
• Supports licensee discussions on vector design and cell line development.
• Delivers consultative advice, troubleshooting, and platform solutions including transfer protocols and data packages.
• Ensures smooth project handoffs between clients and ATUM’s scientific teams, including in the San Francisco Bay Area.
