Job summary

ATUM, a leader in cell line development, gene synthesis, and protein engineering, seeks a Customer Success Scientist in Newark, CA. You will bridge clients with commercial and scientific teams, guiding them from inquiries and quotes to project completion.

Responsibilities include technical quoting, order management, and SME support for gene synthesis and protein production platforms. You will collaborate with BD, manage CRM records, and track project milestones to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science, bioengineering, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 2+ years in life science sales, customer success, or technical support ( pharma/biotech services preferred).
• Or 2+ years in technical project management or cross-functional project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Technical Quoting & Order Management: determine optimal gene synthesis/protein expression solutions and create quotation offers and order records.
• Order Fulfillment: manage order entry and provide proactive status updates, ensuring adherence to agreements.
• Technical Support: SME for Gene Synthesis/Protein Production projects and consultative sessions for accounts.
• Business Development Collaboration: support discussions, execute sales strategies, and help hit revenue targets.
• CRM Management: maintain accurate records of interactions, notes, and opportunities in CRM systems.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: ensure milestones are defined, tracked, and met.
• Technical Reporting: track status and report updates to stakeholders.
