Syngene Biologics is expanding its U.S. commercial presence and seeks a Director of Business Development for Biologics on the East Coast.

The role focuses on driving region-wide revenue growth, managing strategic client partnerships, and leading multi-func­tion deals in a global, matrixed organization. The ideal candidate will have deep biologics CDMO sales experience, an executive presence, and a proven track record of closing $15M+ annual revenue.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in commercial life sciences with CDMO sales experience in biologics.
• Proven success managing early-stage and late-stage client engagements.
• Annual quota responsibility > $15M USD with track record of over-achievement.
• Familiarity with CLD, upstream/downstream, tech transfer, PPQ, and commercial manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Own and grow the region with revenue, pipeline, and new business closures.
• Lead end-to-end deal cycles: prospecting, RFx, proposal, negotiation, contracts.
• Expand biotech and pharma client relationships as primary commercial interface.
• Drive new customer acquisition via targeted outreach, conferences, and inbound leads.
• Collaborate with global teams to craft client-centric solutions.
• Maintain pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, CRM discipline, and weekly updates.
• Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution.
