Job summary

Syngene International Ltd. is seeking a Director of Business Development for Biologics on the East Coast U.S. (Boston Area).

The role focuses on driving regional P&L, building senior client relationships, and leading high-value opportunities through the full commercial lifecycle in a global, matrixed organization. The ideal candidate has deep biologics CDMO experience, a strong network, and a proven track record of exceeding a $15M annual revenue target.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in commercial and life sciences with CDMO sales experience in biologics
• Proven success managing early-stage and late-stage client engagements
• Annual quota responsibility > $15M USD
• Experience in CLD, upstream/downstream development, tech transfer, PPQ

Responsibilities

• Own regional P&L with accountability for revenue and pipeline
• Lead complex deal cycles from prospecting to contract execution
• Manage senior client relationships and align cross-functional teams
• Drive new customer acquisition through targeted outreach and inbound leads
• Maintain pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline
