Job summary

POET in North Manchester, IN is seeking a Plant Technician to operate all plant processing equipment and perform routine maintenance in a highly automated bioprocessing facility. You will run the DCS, carry out basic electrical troubleshooting, document activities, and follow SOPs to ensure safe, efficient production.

This on-site role requires 12-hour shifts (days and nights, rotated every 6 weeks), adherence to safety and environmental standards, log keeping, QA/QC sampling, and teamwork to

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Production environment experience preferred.
• Strong math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant processing equipment and follow SOPs for safe operation.
• Perform maintenance and basic repairs; document activities.
• Operate the DCS and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Collect QA/QC samples, maintain logs, and support quality processes.
