Job summary

InvestedintheMission is seeking a Biochemistry Laboratory Technician to help build biological methods for extracting critical minerals. You will execute protein expression and purification workflows from microbial hosts, perform biochemical assays, and document results with troubleshooting.

The role involves independent work, collaboration with scientists, and meeting safety standards during standard business hours.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field or 2–5 years of lab experience.
• Proficient in molecular biology, biochemistry, and related lab procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute protein expression and purification workflows from microbial hosts.
• Perform biochemical assays and document results with troubleshooting.
• Maintain lab equipment and support general lab needs.
• Communicate results and issues clearly to the team.
• Coordinate activities with scientists and assist others as needed.
