Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a highly experienced Market Developer to lead the execution of market strategy and the development of target markets and applications in the Bio-catalysis Platform. This role combines domain expertise, innovation leadership, and commercial acumen to identify opportunities, quantify product value in use, and pursue new business spaces.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
5+ years commercial experience in the bio or chemical industry.
Experience in the bio-technology sector.
Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing and / or executing in new business spaces.
Strong product and application development expertise.
Global relationship development experience.

Responsibilities

Establish vision and direction for the assigned market segment, driving its development and growth in alignment with the marketing strategy.
Develop and execute application pipeline targets, channel strategy, value chain engagements, marketing communications activities, trade show participation, and key customer engagement plans.
Lead, develop, and strengthen value chain engagement and influence key decision makers on solutions in line with segment strategy.
Create and maintain detailed competitor profiles and comparative analyses, integrating insights into the segment's value proposition with timely updated Value in Use (ViU).
Guide cross functional teams in planning and completing new market development projects.
