Job summary

MSD in Wilson, NC is hiring a Bio Process Operations Associate Technician for 2nd shift to support aseptic manufacturing on a startup vaccine facility. You will perform primary vaccine filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP, and assist with room and equipment disinfection while maintaining strict GMP compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma with 1+ year GMP experience; be able to gown aseptically, wear a respirator if needed, and work with computerized systems.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility (aseptic GMP environment strongly preferred).
• Ability to gown and work in an aseptic environment.
• Experience working with computerized and automated systems.
• Willing to work irregular hours to support multi-shift operation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations and facility disinfection per SOPs.
• Perform aseptic vaccine manufacturing steps including filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP.
• Maintain documentation in electronic batch records and logs.
• Adhere to cGMPs and safety procedures; escalate quality or safety issues.
• Support continuous improvement and problem solving with the IPT team.
