Merck in Wilson, NC seeks a Bio Process Operations Associate Technician (2nd shift) to support aseptic filling, inspection, and packaging in a start-up vaccine facility. You will ensure cGMP compliance, execute disinfection and equipment setup, and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams.

The role requires attention to data integrity, adherence to safety procedures, and flexibility for multi-shift coverage.

Formación

• One or more years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility (aseptic GMP environment strongly preferred).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and assist others through inclusion and empowerment.
• Ability to gown and work in an aseptic environment.
• Experience with computerized and automated systems.
• Willing to work irregular hours to support multi-shift operation.
• Must be willing and able to wear a respirator as required.

Responsabilidades

• Execute manufacturing operations and facility disinfection.
• Set up and perform aseptic vaccine manufacturing including primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP.
• Identify potential equipment problems and partner with Vaccines Maintenance Technicians for resolution.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Operations coach.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and SOP adherence; complete documentation in electronic records.
• Maintain 5S and data integrity; escalate quality or safety issues as needed.
• Support startup activities to meet deliverables and timelines.
• Collaborate with Technicians and cross-functional teams; mentor others.

Educación

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree or biotech certificate (preferred)
