Job summary

Merck in Wilson, NC is seeking a Bio Process Operations Technician for the 3rd shift to support aseptic manufacturing on the shop floor. The role includes primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP, and controlling gowning and disinfectant movements.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: associate degree or bio-pharma certificates.
• Experience in GMP aseptic manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute aseptic vaccine manufacturing steps including primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP.
• Perform routine room/equipment disinfection and manage gowning materials and disinfectants.
• Maintain cGMP compliance, documentation in electronic batch records, and 5S housekeeping.
