Job summary

MSD in Wilson, NC is hiring a Bio Process Operations Technician for the 3rd shift to support aseptic vaccine manufacturing on the shop floor. The role includes primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP, and disinfection activities within qualified parameters.

You will ensure cGMP compliance, complete electronic batch records, and assist in CAPA investigations. The team focuses on continuous improvement and safe, efficient operation with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility (aseptic GMP environment strongly preferred).
• Willing to work irregular hours to support multi-shift operation on an as needed basis.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA) and basic knowledge of cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations and facility disinfection and cleaning.
• Set up and perform aseptic vaccine manufacturing within qualified parameters including primary filling, inspection, packaging, CIP/SIP.
• Identify equipment problems and partner with maintenance technicians to resolve; troubleshoot process and systems.
• Perform duties as requested by the Operations coach; maintain data integrity and proper documentation.
