Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery to operate and maintain high-speed bindery equipment during the day shift. You will learn, grow, and build a long-term career in print manufacturing with a stable, full-time role.

Responsibilities include setting up the Perfect Binder, overseeing crew performance, and training staff while ensuring quality and efficiency on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and organizational skills required.
• Able to read basic instructions and measurements.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to lead and direct crew.
• Must be able to lift 30–100 lbs.
• Excellent attendance and reliability required.
• Team player with dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operation, and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee performance and training of assigned crew members.
• Train the Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/assign workloads to crew.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete paperwork and forms related to processes.
• May handle hazardous waste as part of daily job functions.
• Other duties assigned by management.
