Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Bindery Operator in Eagan, MN, with at least 1 year of printing/bindery machine experience. The role involves operating binding, cutting, stitching, and mail-related equipment to support high-volume print projects, ensuring quality and accuracy from setup to finish.

It is a contract-to-hire on-site position with pay up to $25/hour. Ideal candidates will read blueprints or job tickets, handle materials safely, and maintain efficient production flows while coordinating with

Qualifications

Experience in commercial printing, direct mail, or signage environments is preferred.
Able to read basic blueprints or job tickets for print/bindery work.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in machine operation and finished product review.

Responsibilities

Operate mailing machines for inserting, sorting, and preparing materials for delivery to the Post Office.
Set up, run, and monitor bindery, guillotine, ink-jet, cutting, folding, and stitching machines.
Load and feed paper stock and supplies, ensuring alignment and continuous operation.
Inspect finished products for defects and verify quality against job specs.
Trim edges of bound materials to required size and finish.
Package materials securely for shipping and label accurately.
Transport stock and finished goods around the production area.
Receive, unpack, and store incoming orders, checking against invoices.
Assist with basic machine setup and adjustments to maintain productivity.
Communicate with customers to clarify job requirements when needed.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
