Amsive in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an Operator I, Bindery to support our high-volume print and mail production. You will set up and operate bindery equipment, read job tickets, and ensure cuts, folds, and bindings meet production schedules.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in bindery or print production, mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail. High school diploma or GED required. Position offers growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of bindery or print production experience preferred.
• Experience with cutters, folders, stitchers, or inserters.
• Ability to read rulers, measurements, and job specifications.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, inserters, and binding machines.
• Read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and production schedules.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, cutting, folding, and binding.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Maintain production efficiency while minimizing waste.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with press operators, mailing teams, and supervisors to meet deadlines.
• Accurately complete production and quality control documentation.
