Job summary

Perfect Communications is seeking an experienced bindery operator to join our team in Moorestown Township, NJ. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time roles across all shifts. You will set up and operate a range of bindery and finishing equipment, and cross-training is available.

Responsibilities include reading job tickets, performing quality checks, and maintaining equipment. We offer medical, vision and dental insurance, PTO, and a 401k with employer match in a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating bindery equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for length of shift.
• Ability to bend and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime based on workload.
• Ability to work independently and make quality/production decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot bindery equipment including cutters, folders, tabbers, inkjet units and stitchers.
• Read and follow job tickets and production specifications to complete jobs on schedule.
• Perform quality checks and make adjustments as needed.
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on bindery equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Communicate job status and issues to supervisors and team members at shift changeover.
• Assist in finishing operations as workload requires.
