Job summary

Imagine in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sr Operator, Bindery to operate and trouble-shoot multiple bindery machines, including folding, stitching, and cutting. You will set up, load, monitor quality, and ensure tasks meet production standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 4+ years in the industry; prior bindery experience is preferred. The role requires manual dexterity, color vision, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four or more years of relevant bindery experience.
• Preferred previous bindery experience.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and adjust machines.
• Load machine, observe operation and match samples to job order specifications.
• Review job ticket for specifications or special instructions that may impact the operation or set-up of the machine.
• Continuously review the quality of the product during operation to meet specified job requirements.
• Performs preventative maintenance to equipment.
• Completes production records.
• Track job costs/production hours as applicable.
• Train Operators as needed.
• Works overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
