The role requires reading work orders, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and coordinating with the crew to maintain productivity while upholding safety standards. Compensation is hourly, with a pay range of $21.00–$29.41 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and other job specifications, ensuring dimensional accuracy per instructions.
• Must be able to calculate distances, clearances, and fits when combining machines.
• Skill in using standard and specialized bindery tools to adjust and maintain equipment operating conditions.
• Knowledge of different coated and uncoated paper stock and their machining requirements.
• Ability to set up and adjust machines for finishing operations and refine adjustments for weight, color, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines and equipment to produce final books, catalogs or magazines.
• Inspect equipment for safety and monitor output, quality and productivity.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production and coordinate multiple work stations on a single machine.
• Monitor quality control and ensure dimensional accuracy throughout the finishing process.
