Job summary

Sheridan New Hampshire is hiring for a Machine Operator in a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Monday–Friday, for full-time employment with overtime opportunities. A $2,500 hiring bonus is offered after 12 weeks, with training provided to operate high-speed bindery equipment.

You will learn to set up and operate cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, contributing to the production of books and printed materials.

Qualifications

• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
