Job summary

The Sheridan Group in New Hampshire is hiring for Machine Operator roles on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). We’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, stitchers and perfect binders, with hands-on learning and a path to a long-term career in print manufacturing.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, hit daily production goals, and qualify for a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks, plus overtime opportunities and shift incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use basic tools.
• Ability to read simple job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Pride in doing quality work and reliability in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
