Qualifications

• Skill in using hand tools to maintain and adjust bindery equipment.
• Understanding of paper weights, sizes, colors and machinability for quality output.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Operate bindery machines that handle signatures and books.
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple work stations on a machine.
• Direct crew through all production stages.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
