RRD in Orlando is seeking a skilled bindery operator to set up, adjust and run a range of automated and manual finishing machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from start to finish. You will read work orders, coordinate multiple stations, monitor output and quality, and direct crew to keep on schedule while maintaining safety standards and machine maintenance routines.

The role demands precise measuring, strict adherence to specifications, and the ability to troubleshoot between stations;

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret written work orders or other job specifications containing bindery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of binding machines and finishing equipment.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple work stations on a single machine.
• Read orders and maintain dimensional accuracy according to instructions.
