Job summary

Holmberg Mechanical in Bellevue, WA is seeking a BIM/VDC Support Specialist to join our team and help create and maintain drawings, models, and documentation used to fabricate and install mechanical systems. This is an early-career, developmental role that pairs you with VDC, engineering, and project teams.

You will gain hands-on experience with Revit, BIM/VDC processes, construction drawings, fabrication packages, and project coordination while translating virtual design into field

Qualifications

• Strong technical aptitude for BIM/VDC concepts and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D drawings from 3D models using Revit.
• Set up and maintain Revit sheets, views, and schedules.
• Modify and update 3D model content.
• Support project teams in preparing drawings for fabrication, layout, and installation.
• Generate bills of materials and fabrication spool packages from project models.
• Perform basic quality checks on drawings and fabrication packages prior to release.
• Maintain organized project files, documentation, and revision tracking.
• Assist with detailing and preconstruction design activities.
• Assist with development and maintenance of Revit families and model content.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal project team members.
• Support multiple projects and priorities as needed.
• Provide general BIM/VDC production and project support as assigned.
