Job summary

VEC is seeking a BIM/VDC Specialist (Mechanical) to develop and maintain mechanical models, coordinate across trades, and ensure QA/QC of BIM deliverables on US projects. You will collaborate with mechanical contractors, project managers, foremen, and field teams, using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Procore to resolve clashes and optimize layouts while upholding NEC standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BIM/VDC for mechanical construction.
• Ability to analyze modeling challenges and provide constructible solutions.
• Strong collaboration with contractors, project managers, and field teams.
• Familiarity with NEC codes and field installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical models in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, ensuring constructability and compliance.
• Perform clash detection and resolution with other trades to optimize layouts.
• Update as-built models reflecting field conditions and revisions.
• Attend weekly BIM coordination meetings and support remote teams.
