Job summary

Okland Construction seeks a VDC Manager passionate about using technology to improve project outcomes and collaboration across project teams. You will lead BIM/VDC efforts on vertical construction projects, driving 3D coordination using Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and ACC to support coordination across stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on BIM/VDC leadership, manage federated models, and advance best practices through training and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of BIM/VDC experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Hands-on experience supporting or leading 3D coordination across project teams, trades, and design partners.
• Proficiency with BIM technologies such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and/or ACC.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, design and construction workflows, and coordination across building systems (MEP).
• Experience with Design-Build, Design-Assist, and IPD projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM/VDC coordination from preconstruction through construction, ensuring alignment with BIM Execution Plans (BxPs).
• Develop, manage, and maintain federated 3D models for site, utilities, MEP/FP, and building envelope.
• Facilitate coordination meetings with design partners and trade partners to resolve clashes and constructability challenges.
• Track BIM/VDC progress, budgets, risks, and resource needs for leadership.
• Contribute to BIM/VDC best practices through training and knowledge sharing.
