Job summary

Okland Construction in Arizona is seeking an experienced VDC professional to lead design teams during the design phase of commercial projects. You will drive preconstruction BIM/VDC coordination using Revit to align goals with architects, engineers, owners, and trade partners.

Collaborative and technically proficient, you'll manage federated models, support quantity takeoffs, and ensure BIM workflows are understood across project partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in design management, VDC, BIM, or a related construction-focused role.
• Proven experience leading design teams with architects, engineers, owners, and trade partners.
• Proficiency with BIM software, including Autodesk Revit; ACC/Navisworks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design & Team Coordination: align BIM/VDC strategies with architects, engineers, owners, and trade partners.
• Preconstruction VDC Leadership: manage the preconstruction VDC process from early design through construction readiness.
• Technology & Project Delivery: use Revit to drive model-based coordination and extract quantities for estimating.
