B&I Contractors, Inc. in Florida is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Electrical Coordinator to join our growing team.

You will design standards, manage BIM workflows in Revit/Navisworks, coordinate with project teams, and ensure constructible drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in commercial Electrical BIM/VDC.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Fabrication CADMEP, Navisworks, MS Word, Excel, Outlook and related 3D detailing software tools.

Responsibilities

• Design Standards - Works in conformity with company Electrical BIM Standards and detailing practices.
• Software Proficiency - Uses software platforms to produce accurate production-level drawings; maintains proficiency with BIM tools.
• Detailing Proficiency - Generates and formats drawings; ensures constructible state; reviews shop drawings for quality and accuracy; updates drawings with field changes.
• Interdepartmental communications - Coordinates detailing scope with Project Supervision; supports project staff with drawing priorities.
• Communication Skills - Communicates with BIM/VDC Electrical Manager and Electrical Field Team; reports issues as needed.
