Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a BIM/VDC Lead to implement BIM processes across projects, ensuring alignment with requirements and industry standards. You will oversee modeling, coordination, and collaboration to improve efficiency and on-time delivery.

The role requires progressive BIM/VDC leadership experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Revit, Navisworks, and scripting. Office-based with site coordination across the Western US; competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BIM/VDC leadership experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, CAD, or related field.
• “Progressive experience leading BIM VDC efforts within construction.”

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution, and maintenance of BIM processes and methodologies on projects.
• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models and conduct clash detection to resolve design conflicts.
• Facilitate coordination among project stakeholders using digital collaboration platforms.
• Apply VDC methodologies to improve planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Provide guidance and training on BIM and VDC best practices.
