Job summary

Performance Contracting Group, a national employee-owned specialty contractor, is seeking a Design Engineer for its Londonderry, NH operation. You will create 3D models in Revit, coordinate with BIM/VDC teams, and ensure model accuracy and compliance with project documents.

The role requires 4+ years BIM/VDC experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360; portfolio of Revit work; and willingness to visit project sites. Competitive salary and bonus plan included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related discipline.
• 2-year technical degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of BIM (Revit)/VDC modeling and coordination experience.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Design/Glue.
• Portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF Software.
• Ability to understand design and document coordination.
• Willingness to visit project sites and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend kick-off meeting with design/operations staff to define LOD, scope, and contract requirements.
• Create 3D models utilizing Revit.
• Actively participate in BIM coordination and design meetings.
• Develop and model scopes including walls, ceilings, panels, raised floors, and clean rooms using Revit and add-ons.
• Coordinate with point cloud files and ensure spatial coordination.
• Escalate issues to BIM Coordinator and Design/Operations Team as needed.
• Perform BIM compliance checks and QC models against project documents.
• Use Navisworks to run clash detection and resolve PCI clashes.
• Attend staff training and maintain project BIM standards.
• Coordinate with BIM/VDC service providers and clients.
• Provide design support tasks including drawings and layouts.
• Prepare CAD/Navisworks files for field use.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
