Job summary

PCI Dallas 114 in Midlothian, TX is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to lead BIM/VDC modeling efforts using Revit and coordinating with design and operations teams. The role requires 4+ years of BIM experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 Design/Glue, plus a portfolio demonstrating Revit work.

You will develop and coordinate 3D models for interior and exterior components, participate in BIM coordination meetings, and ensure model integrity and project alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2-year technical degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 4+ years of BIM (Revit)/VDC modeling and coordination experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Design/Glue.
• Portfolio demonstrating work in Revit and Revit Family Editor.
• Experience with Bluebeam PDF Software.

Responsibilities

• Attend kick-off meetings to confirm development scope, project details, and contract requirements.
• Create 3D models using Revit and coordinate in BIM meetings.
• Develop and model interior/exterior elements to required Level of Development.
• Coordinate with point cloud files and ensure spatial coordination.
• Run clash detection with Navisworks and resolve conflicts.
• QC models against project documents for discrepancies.
• Assist with design and field support tasks as needed.
• Maintain project-specific BIM content and standards.
