Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a BIM Technician I in Lenexa to contribute to detailed 3D models for engineering projects, ensure BEP alignment, and maintain BIM standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and continuous learning across Revit and BIM workflows.

You will support design development, prepare reports, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients while abiding by industry codes and project standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in BIM or 2 years BIM experience required.
• BIM-related certificate counts toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts, details and drawings for mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems.
• Review BIM Execution Plans and implement BEP objectives in workflow.
• Maintain BIM documentation and ensure model health and standards.
• Assist with engineering calculations and analyses as directed.
• Contribute to BIM standards and ongoing tool knowledge upgrades.
