Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a BIM Technician to model HVAC equipment, ductwork and piping in Revit, aligning with project standards and BIM guidelines. You will support senior designers and engineers across multiple projects, producing drawings and maintaining accurate models.

The role requires Revit proficiency, familiarity with AutoCAD and Bluebeam, and the ability to read multiple discipline drawings. On-site collaboration in St.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in the HVAC or MEP industry, or a related degree or technical certificate with Revit coursework.
• Working proficiency in Revit (MEP).
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with HVAC piping and ductwork systems and fittings.
• Ability to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Model HVAC equipment, ductwork and piping systems in Revit to project and company standards.
• Produce plans, sections and details from the Revit model under the direction of senior designers.
• Update models to reflect design changes, RFI responses and clash resolutions.
• Assist with clash detection in Navisworks and help prepare clash reports.
• Build and maintain Revit families and content for HVAC equipment, fittings and accessories.
• Keep models accurate, consistent and aligned with NDBS BIM standards and project execution plans.
• Organize and maintain model files, sheets and project records.
• Support senior designers and engineers on multiple projects at once.
